If your wondering when Africrans was going to expand... Well here it is. Africrans by Amerikids applied for a 5,000 dollar grant at 5x5night.com. Now 5x5night.com runs by voting, and we just need to be in the top five. If we make it into the top five, we are invited to present our idea to the board, and they decide from there. The winner wins the 5,000 dollars, so we need your help! If you have one email, it counts for one vote. Two emails, all the better! It counts for two votes. Voting ends at the end of January, so here's how you do it... 1. Go to 5x5night.com and click on view all ideas for January 5x5 night. 2. On the top right hand corner of your screen, you will see a green button that says Register now to vote! Click on it 3. After that, a screen should come up. It will ask for your name, and you can put it any name you want if you don't want your put your real name. (safe site) 4. Enter your email address 5. It will ask for your password. Now it doesn't have to be the password to your email, just any password that you can remember. 6. 5x5night will send an email to your email address containing a code for you to vote. 7. Vote for Africrans by Amerikids INNOVATION STATION! The money would be used to develop a portable work station in the elementary schools. A picture book of instructions about the crayons and children in Africa and topics of recycling, philanthropy. So students can participate n the full process of crayon recycling, packaging, and selling with 50% to Africa and 50% to the school. Just like our tag line, each life matters, every crayon counts.
